Pasos

  1. Official Acer safety recall: Acer determined that in a limited number of Acer/Predator ES Series 5 (AES025/PES025) e-scooters, the battery may overheat under certain conditions and pose a fire or burn risk. Affected battery packs are those shipped between June 2024 and December 2025. Official instruction: stop using the product, do not charge the battery further, and contact the nearest Acer Service Center to check whether the specific unit is affected; if affected, Acer replaces the battery free of charge. IMPORTANT SCOPE CAVEAT: both the German-language (Austria/Germany) and French-language (Switzerland) versions of this notice explicitly list the affected countries as Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Ukraine, Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia - Spain is NOT named in either version found. No Spain-locale (es-es) version of this recall was found archived, and it is unknown whether Spain-sold units are covered by an equivalent unpublished notice or are unaffected. Given AES025 is the exact same DGT-certified model in this record, this should be treated as a serious safety flag for any AES025 unit encountered in the shop regardless of the recall's stated country scope, pending direct confirmation from Acer.
