1. Official Section 4 steps (scooter must be switched off): Closure - unlock the pole lever, fold the pole onto the footplate, hook the handlebar hook onto the rear-fender hook, verify the lock by lifting the product slightly off the ground. Opening - unlock the handlebar hook from the fender, raise the handlebar pole to the end of its stroke, lock it by pushing the lever inward. Always carry the scooter by the handlebar pole with one or both hands; manual warns against continuing to carry it if you cannot be sure of holding its weight (risk of sudden drop/injury/damage).
