Official charging protocol (manual p.61 EN): connect DC charging port first, then plug into wall outlet, unplug outlet first when finished; LED red=charging, green=complete; do not charge if port/cable wet or battery shows water damage; close charge-port cover when not charging. Storage/maintenance (p.75-76): any water ingress into the battery risks internal circuit damage, fire or explosion - stop use immediately and return to After-Sales for inspection; dispose of batteries per local regulations, never in household waste; if idle >30 days, fully charge and store dry/cool, recharge every 60 days to avoid irreversible, warranty-excluded damage; only use original HITWAY charger/battery; non-professionals must not dismantle the battery pack (risk of electric shock, short circuit, major safety accidents).
