Official steps (manual p.57-60, 74 EN): to unfold, pull the A (folding hook) backward, lift B (the straight rod) upward, reset the folding hook and insert C (self-locking safety pin) into its hole 'to ensure riding safety'; to fold, scooter must be turned off first, pull the latch ring outward, pull down the red handle, grab the pole and fold down, then re-lock the latch when carrying.
