1. Official folding steps (manual p.8-9): push the fender latch backward to disengage the fender hook, lift the stem to riding position and close the folding latch until it clicks; reverse for unfolding, pushing the fender latch back until it can disengage the hook, lifting the stem and fully closing the stem folding latch until a click is heard. Warning: ensure the folding mechanism is locked securely each time.
