1. Official steps: to fold, deploy the kickstand, press the grey lever (A) while rotating the pivoting mechanism clockwise (B) fully to unlock the stem, pivot the stem toward the deck (C), and hook the stem hook into the deck loop. To unfold, release the hook, raise the stem while holding the pivoting lock mechanism down, then lock by rotating the mechanism counter-clockwise until an audible click (E). Manual warns to always deploy the kickstand on flat ground when not in use and to ensure the folding hook is properly stowed before riding.
